We also worked on other tech talks like: CTF and Bash workshop with introduction to Linux Command Line Machine Learning and common attacks towards hacking facial recognition
Socials
WiCyS was able to organize internal socials as well as cohost with WECE and WCS for a fun element to this virtual semester!
Keysight Technologies Event
We had a great opportunity to partner with Keysight and get to know the various open CyberSecurity positions they had to offer. Steve McGregor, the Senior Director of Application and Threat Intelligence Research Centre at Keysight was able to talk about the applications of cybersecurity in electronic measurement companies.
Testimonials
"I loved that we had more socials this semester and were able to get to know our members on a slightly deeper level. Our tech workshops were also very informational and I felt like I was able to learn more about cybersecurity!"
"More specifically, I liked the socials because it's been otherwise impossible for me to make new friends as someone who isn't on campus and has fully virtual/asynchronous courses. Playing Codenames was a lot of fun because I liked getting to know everyone's thought process through the way they connected different words."
